Getting to Salt Cay


Salt Cay is the easternmost island in the Turks and Caicos Islands archipelago. It is the smallest of the 8 inhabited islands of the Turks and Caicos and the closest neighboring island is Grand Turk.


To get to Salt Cay, first fly to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (PLS), then catch an interisland flight on Caicos Express Airlines to Salt Cay (SLX).

Once in Providenciales, you can fly directly to Salt Cay on Caicos Express Airlines.  Caicos Express offers scheduled flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  There are additional flights on Saturdays and Wednesdays during high season and charters can be arranged anytime.


Visit www.caicosexpress.com to view the flight schedule. Online reservations can be made, but you have to call and give your credit card information over the phone to pay for and confirm your flight. An itinerary will then be emailed to you.


It is also possible to travel to Salt Cay from Grand Turk by community ferry (40 minute boat trip that operates 3 days a week weather permitting) or by Caicos Express.
